Employee burnout is a very real and serious thing now in 2017.
More employees are doing more and getting paid less than ever before in history. (when adjusted for inflation)
In the 1950's, it was completely possible to raise a family on one income.
But, over time, as deficit spending and other policies loomed their ugly head, inflation grew and as the cost of everything (especially housing) shot through the roof, it became increasingly impossible to take care of a family on one income, and instead required 2 or even 3 incomes to "make it".
Watch today's video here:
Many people blame this disparity of income on "big corporations not wanting to pay a "living wage", but the truth is, this was government's fault. By not managing inflation correctly (and in many cases actually CAUSING massive inflation through the implementation of ill-advised fiscal, housing and regulatory policies, the government made it virtually impossible to live on one income.
So today, here we are, with employees working harder than ever before, yet getting paid less (on a net basis) than ever before.
The push for higher productivity is causing burnout and many employees (especially those who feel they have no other options) are simply "taking it".
Fortunately, there are many good, solid options!
The world of work has changed dramatically in just the last few years and today, it is entirely possible to build your own REAL, LEGITIMATE business online with little to no investment AND in a very short period of time.
The primary reason for this is the mass adoption by the public of the internet, smartphones and doing business online in general!
Today's video talks about these options and how you can begin creating an option for yourself if you are one of these burned out employees.

I couldnt watch the vide because of some network problems (possibly because of the wifi of the cafe) but I just cant see the point of blaming governments for the inflation part... I do know what inflation is and what is the role of the governments, but seriously, corporations are not guilty at all for the burnouts ? Okay, inflation is because of gov'ts, but the working conditions? long working hours? making it almost impossible to get a 2-week long leave?

I think the article I was showcasing did make that point - that, due to current economic conditions, companies are being forced to ask more of their employees and employees are doing more with less. It's not only the governments' fault, but they play a far larger role in how the economy goes than companies do. Companies are forced to react to changing market forces "as they happen" and government can be one of the biggest influences on markets.
