Trump- I Got Rid of Obamacare, IRS- No You Didn't

Despite Trump's recent claim at another one of his strange rallies that he "essentially got rid of Obamacare," the IRS knows that this is not true, and that all parts of Obamacare other than the individual mandate remain in place

Will Trump keep trying to claim he "got rid" of obamacare?

Aaaaaannnnnnndddd there goes your tax return increase ...

He was also born on third base, and thinks he hit a triple.

Very solid analogy

Thanks, David. Yeah...he comes from such a foreign mindset from most Americans that it is no wonder he needed campaign advisors like Bannon to "put on the MAGA". Of course, they all do it....

We haven't had a true POTUS of the people since, who?...Cal Coolidge?

will you follow me @alnandar

Properganda...by trump...not good ..

Seems to me that everyone ends up being "just another politician" in the end @davidpakman. That is, they end up using either lies or out-of-context snippets to take credit for something. Is Trump really any different? Probably not.

Oh dear, does Trump not have a filter for his mouth? he is one of them presidents that should never have come in to power if you ask me, don't get me wrong i am not a clinton fan either, they should have let the country run it's self until they found some one more suitable to do the job.

Your statement is inaccurate....

The following has changed in regards to "Obamacare":

1.) Individual mandate removed
2.) You are now allowed to use your pretax HSA funds to cover premiums
3.) $45mm goes to states annually to fight opioid abuse
4.) Medicaid expansion will end by 2024
5.) Catastrophic plan age limits were raised
6.) Makes it easier for the sale of health insurance across state lines
7.) Allows tax payers to deduct premiums on their tax returns
8.) Require providers to use price transparency, limit over charging
9.) Removed barriers for drug providers to enter free markets
10.) I'll stop here...1-9 aims at actually making health coverage affordable

Obamacare did introduce the preexisting condition clause, that was wonderful. But it also forced the generation (age 30's-50's) clobbered by student loan debt to float the bill for health care to a large portion of unemployed, not looking for jobs, Americans. If Congress would work with President Trump, he would build a law that would use the positives of each plan.
