The Scrolls were found near the Dead Sea Around 1646 to 1956.

No one knows who wrote the scrolls but they are said to come from 4th Century Before Christ some belive they were produced by a desert Sect Called the Essenes.

This new section was put together by Dr Eshbal Ratson and Prof Jonathan Bed-Dov of Haifa University.

The calendar is show in code and fragments are smaller than a square centimeter.

The festival written about is called New Oil, New Wheat, and New Oil also shows changes between seasons is described as Tefukah.

Dr Ratzon said, ‘What’s nice is that these comments were hints that helped me figure out the puzzle – they showed me how to assemble the scroll.’
