Boeing Board Member Quits Over Bailout Plans

There is a multi-billion dollar plan allegedly in the works to bailout Boeing. It could be as much as a $60 billion or more rescue package.

One board member who had previously been with Boeing, Boeing director N. Haley, who also happens to have been a former U.N. ambassador, has recently quit in a sign of protest against that suggested bailout.

Haley said that her leaving was a matter of philosophical principle that she couldn't overlook and that is the financial support that Boeing might get from the federal government.

When you are on the board of a company that profits from cronyism and war in the way that Boeing does however, it's humorous to see Haley quit over a bailout on supposed 'principles'.

And it isn't going to stop the bailout from happening either.

Do the people who get extorted from the government even want their money going to Boeing? Of course, whether or not they think it is a good idea doesn't matter.

The government doesn't bother to ask what the public thinks before rushing to aggressively further devalue their currency and print money into oblivion so that they can offer bailout packages of one sort or another.

Using arguably forcefully confiscated funds to try and save a business that might fail, I'd say, is a poor decision to make. And so is the bloated and senseless war mongering that the U.S. and its allies have been engaging in for decades, thanks to companies like Boeing that help to make it all possible.
