deadly drone soldiers coming soon?

I think the US plans to have millions of soldier-drones based on the "spot mini" by Boston Dynamics, each with a magnitude of censors, weapons, and ammo. They can run, crawl, jump, and kill better than the most skilled human soldier. Finally, the sons and daughters of America won't have to die in foreign wars! Job opportunities in tech, and drone operation. Research and production paid for with tax dollars. They'll be used to defeat terrorists first, then (like most gear used by law enforcement) granted for use on citizens back home.

Imagine it painted black, camo, or tan. Heat-sensing and infra-red. There's room for a grenade launcher and servo-stabilized front-and-back automatic rifles. And remember, the military has equipment even more advanced than they let on.
Give it 10 years or less and we're going to see patrols of armed drone super-soldiers on American streets.
That's the plan, anyhow. I hope to be entirely wrong :)
