In an write up that just screams "why do you have a job?" David K. Li wrote an article that I thought was satire until I read it. We don't need an article to know what the number one motivation of Democrats is this year - we've been listening to it constantly for the past 3 years and will likely be listening to it for another 4 years.

Exit polls indicate by a 2 to 1 margin that people in New Hampshire said "they would rather see a nominee who can beat President Donald Trump in November than one who agrees with them on the issues." David goes on to present really silly statistics while I am certain they are true, are things that we don't need a survey or a news story to know they are true such as:
- 81% of democrats are angry with Trump
- 90% of Republicans believe Trump has kept his promises
- Democrats most important issue is defeating Trump
This story is dumb because this information doesn't really help anyone, it's not thing new, and you could guess all of it simply by looking at the Facebook profile of someone who thinks that their friends give a crap about their political opinions.

I do find it a little bit funny that the number one characteristic of the candidates facing Trump, except for maybe Bernie, is that they aren't Trump. They don't really have a platform otherwise.
This article is dumb not because I necessarily think that Democrats are wrong for hating Trump, I think the objective of the opposing party during every presidential election since the beginning of Presidential elections has been to remove the current President. It is a dumb article because the conclusion is so glaringly obvious.
