Major news outlets labeling Russel Brand defenders as "conspiracy theorists"

in news •  last year

Russel Brand, love him or hate him, calls out the Main Stream Media for their hypocrisy and allegiance to big business on a regular basis and regularly gets more viewers than they do on his streams. So obviously they hate him just like they hate Joe Rogan.

Recently there are allegations of Russel Brand being naughty with the ladies in the past when he was a rising star and these are all coming out now. I am not suggesting that we should automatically assume that Brand is innocent, but the way that the media treats certain people as "guilty until proven innocent" is pretty predictable: If you are on "their side" you get a pass but if you contest them or their overlords, you are automatically guilty just because of an accusation.

That's the headline from one of Australia's largest mainstream media outlets. There are similar ones, conveniently, in the United States and UK, as well as probably everywhere else around the world. This is almost exactly what happened with Joe Rogan in that when they can't shut him up, they try to destroy his credibility, when that doesn't work, they go after the person's fans and call them all nutters.

People are standing up to question whether or not the allegations against Brand are true because we been down this road before. We have seen people who question or stand up to the status quo have their lives turned upside down as the giants that are frantically trying to hold onto power bully anyone who gets in their way. To call them conspiracy theorists simply because they contest the mainstream media narrative is a bit dumb these days don't you think. Especially after a great many of the "conspiracy theories" about Covid turned out to be true anyway. How many people that questioned the mainstream media narrative had their lives destroyed because they dared to give their, sometimes expert opinion, on something?

For the mainstream media to attempt to label anyone as a liar these days is quite beyond dumb in my, and many other people's opinions. Does this mean that Brand is innocent? Well not necessarily. I find the guy a bit of a mixed bag personally, but it's hard to not look at this coordinated attack against him and call it anything other than that.

Conveniently, most of the sites that have written hit-pieces on Brand have also disabled comments. I am sure the same is true for all other social media posts about the same thing as well.

I really don't think that there are very many people with an IQ above room temperature that have any real faith in the media anymore and to go out and call anyone who questions them "conspiracy theorists" just shows how completely out of touch the mainstream media is. Let them dig their own graves, they are doing a wonderful job of it.

Russel may very well be guilty of these allegations. Time will tell, but calling anyone who stands up for him "crazy" right out of the gate, is a fantastic way to make me and millions of other people not listen to what you have to say at all. This is fine by me because I stopped listening to anything the MSM had to say a decade ago and instead focus on how absurd they are.
