Or that is what the headlines are saying anyway but it should really come as no surprise that this isn't exactly what happened. In the headlines they are doing everything they can to call the Proud Boys "far right" and say things like they hate Jews and people of color, but then in the videos that have emerged that haven't been heavily edited by news stations show something very clear: The Proud Boys did NOT start the fights.

I'll include the video later in this post. I want you to understand that this video, at least for now, is all but buried under "news stations" reporting where they feature heavily edited video that doesn't even show the actual brawl. They talk about how the Proud Boys are racist and antisemitic over and over again and their basis for this reasoning is to quote the classification that is given to them by SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center,) an organization that has nothing to do with poverty or law - they are an activist group that carries the liberal torch on all matters.
The SPLC is a very wealthy organization posing as a "watchdog" group but what they really do is to launch smear campaigns against any organization that doesn't tow their political lines. Whenever I see that a news organization quotes SPLC, I know that we are in for some fake news.

The above picture was in an article written by The Sun with the caption of "right-wing Proud Boys and peaceful church vigil protesters clash." What they didn't reveal is that the two people in this picture are both part of the "peaceful church vigil" (if that was even a thing there.) The white guy in the picture is NOT with the Proud Boys. The Proud Boys are actually marching to the right, conveniently out of view of this particular photo.
The exact same image was originally in the Detroit News and they zoomed out to show the whole scene.

A Proud Boys member who only identified himself and "Mack" to avoid getting doxxed (which is a favorite tactic of Antifa) said that the park where there was a BLM protest going on was intentionally bypassed to avoid confrontation because "They have as much of a right to assemble as we do."
In the below video you can see where members from the park rally went out to confront the Proud Boys and you can make up your own mind about who started it. Unlike the various media stations who are twisting this story to tell you what happened without any proof, I think the video speaks for itself.
I can't say for sure, but the shirtless guy with the ill fitting jeans appears to be the same person instigating things in this video.
It is pretty clear to me who started it and even though the Proud Boys could have escalated the situation they didn't do so. Yet this is not the story that the media is telling and I have to wonder what it is that they are hoping to accomplish with their edited videos and photos when the actual video is out there if anyone cares to find it.
Do they really have a majority of people pegged? Are they really that stupid? Do people actually believe this stuff? The comments section on many of the news stations videos about this tell a different story and the thumbs up / down does as well.
I understand that news station spin things but in situations like this where the lie is so easily revealed, why are there not repercussions? Time will tell I guess. In the meantime, we have a few new names to add to "the list"
