I realize that Twitter is not a great place to get really anything but whenever there is some sort of global event the self-serving people of the world or the crazies are going to come and use these situations for their own benefit. These people don't have to be famous, but a lot of them are, and for the most part I think that their attempts at being original or creative just come across and insensitive, stupid, or at the minimum very very cringe.
There is no doubt that what is going on in Ukraine is really tragic and unfortunate right now, but this doesn't stop people from using it for other political reasons rather than treating it as what it actually is.
Ah right, what better time to keep the vaccination train running than when people are facing potential death by bullet or bomb. Dana is not famous but she is getting her 15 minutes of fame over this one for all the wrong (or right) reasons. I don't know many people who live in a Covid-obsessed bubble anymore but Dana seems to be one of those people. What a completely stupid thing to post and she is being rightfully roasted like hell right now for being the idiot that she is.

Then there is this person who I do not know but she is a soon-to-be-fired voice actress for a show I have never seen or even heard of. This is a very extreme version of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) on full display.
Imagine being so obsessed with Trump hatred that you are perfectly ok with people dying just so the bad Orange Man doesn't get back in office? She went back and forth and faced a ton of backlash and eventually apologized and deleted the tweet, you can see the full exchange here
Then we have George Takai who also has extreme left-leaning ways and TDS. If it is a left/right issue he will always be certain to take the one side, every time. He is loathed by a lot of people including William Shatner, who is arguably the only reason why anyone even knows who Takai is.
George listen up: One situation being more extreme than another doesn't eliminate the importance of the lessor thing or as you call it the "freedums" of the people involved. You are a clown who desperately tries to remain relevant. Did I mention that Takai has been accused of sexual assault of a passed out model back in 1981? To suggest that people protesting for their rights in Canada is stupid just because something more tragic is happening is an idiot stance. If there had been war in Canada I am quite certain that George wouldn't have called the opposition "brave citizens."
Twitter is a cesspool of idiocy so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised when that is exactly what I find there.
The good news is that people are leaving it in droves along with other traditional social media sites. Perhaps I should stop even mentioning it here as well but some things are just to dumb to ignore.
Give 'em a break. Without virtue signaling, they have no life
