A Bangladeshi airliner crashed on Monday at Tribhuvan International airport, and this tragic incident happened just 10 miles away from my home. The plane landed unexpectedly in the airport after moving above houses of Katmandu for a while. Talking to local people, they said the plane tried to find a place to land and flew above the houses many times before it finally crashed near the runway of the airport. The weather was a bit cloudy today as most of the news reported. At least 49 people were killed and more than 20 injured.

On the board, there were 71 people. Out of them, 33 from Nepal, 32 from Bangladesh, one each from China and the Maldives. More than half of the Nepali student included the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) students who recently finished their final exam and were returning back to Nepal after years. They were ready to work as a doctor in Nepal. Most of the others from Nepal were the trainee of tourism industry who had been to Bangladesh for training and returning home.

We, youth from Kathmandu are helping the affected people and family by donating the blood, making the list of the affected people and bringing it into social media, informing and comforting the affected families and more.

This is the list of people admitted to the nearby hospital. There are many people still missing or out of contact and we are using social media and local resources to get the news about them.
This situation is terrible for affected families and may God help them.
