A packaging factory was set on fire in Baluchara Kulgaon area under Bayazid Police Station in Chittagong city.
But there were no casualties in the fire.
Kamal Uddin, Acting Assistant Director of Chittagong Fire Service, said the fire originated in the factory at Balucheda's Kulgaon area around 3pm on Friday night.
He said a factory owned by a person named Saleh Ahmad's 'Printing and Packaging Company' had a fire in the factory.
Fire Service officials brought the fire under control of four cars of Bayezid and Hathazari stations around 9am.
Fire-fighting officer Kamal Uddin said the fire started from the electrical disaster, burning of various parts of the Semitic factory of 90 feet long and 46 feet in the fire.
The financial measurements of the wound could not be immediately ascertained.
