PM of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has been disqualified by the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Panama Paper Case.

This was started when Panama papers revealed that three of Mr Nawaz Sharif's children owned offshore companies and assets not shown on his family's wealth statement in 2016. The case hearings spread over nearly 15 months and then today 28 June 2017 the panel of five judges announced their unanimous decision, with the election commission ordered to issue a disqualification notice to Mr Nawaz Sharif. With the ruling, Sharif's cabinet has also been dissolved.
