Delicious Irony
Over the weekend I read about Trump tower being bugged, possibly by the Obama administration. Trump has stated that Edward Snowden should be executed. If I wrote a comedy movie about a public official that was constantly criticizing the media, the practices of his predecessors, and then went out to do exactly those things and worse you would say it wasn't believable.
So, here we have president criticizing his predecessor over illegally wiretapping, but wants to execute someone who blew the whistle on illegal wiretapping? If Trump, was truly interested in doing away with illegal wiretapping, he would shut down the CIA, NSA, and FBI. The only thing those agencies are constitutionally allowed to do is to be shut down.
He blew the whistle on illegal wiretapping and the NSA, but what more did he blew the whistle on that we haven't heard about? I do know we haven't been told the whole story.
But what came from Trump's mouth isn't surprising as he is authoritarian right.

As with anything in media, we aren't going to get the full and correct story. I'm a little dubious of Edward Snowden, only because he didn't reveal anything that people who have been paying attention didn't already know. Trump is doing what all authortarians do, no big surprise there either. I just thought it was funny that he was whining about something he plans on doing more of.
