There is a lot of speculation regarding the draft soon being instituted if things escalate with Russia, which is pretty unlikely, but for the sake of hypotheticals, I'm not going.
I vehemently refuse to fight a conflict that has absolutely no real bearing on improving Latino rights or Latino communities in the United States. Likewise, this doesn't benefit any American of any race, except for the rich investors of Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Raytheon. The federal government would be overstepping its boundaries in this conflict to protect American and Western European hegemony and I'm not going to stand for that.
I'm not a jingoist and I am not a pacifist, but the Ukraine conflict is NOT a conflict that I will ever feel right serving in.
If the Federal Government pushes for a draft then the federal government can go fuck itself.
Yet, again, this is unlikely... but not impossible.
