Interesting take! I only 2 reports to MUFON out of the 20 or so sightings I've had. And, even the local MUFON investigator tell me that there are MUFON people who hoard cases for the purpose of pitching them to their connections at cable TV executives. So, that would support your idea about third parties and "who knows what?".

However, I do feel that Peter Davenport is honest and a good guy over at NUFORC. But, he does share everything with MUFON. And well, MUFON needs to either be disbanded or restructured. They have compromised themselves as a money making scheme. And it's gotten to the point that they are inviting guests to their conventions who are making up wild claims they cannot support and no one disprove.
