After a long, violent, and bloody day that resulted in hundreds of people being unjustly and violently assaulted and hospitalized by the Spanish Civil Guard for simply wanting to vote the people of Catalonia have overwhelmingly voted yes to independence. Within a few hours of the polling stations closing the votes were counted and the results broadcast live on TV3 a local Catalan television station.
Out of the 7,500,000 people live in Catalonia about 5,000,000 of them were eligible to vote. According to some Catalan officials some 700,000 ballots were seized during raids on polling station carried out by the Spanish Civil Guards. So if you include these in with the valid ballots the total votes cast was around 3,000,000 which should make the result valid.
Remarkably after all the efforts Spain made to stop the election from even going ahead only 207 polling stations out of 2,315 were actually shut down. This is a monumental achievement by the Catalan people to have this many polling stations open considering Spain sent over 15,000 military police to the region during the build up of the election to raid print factories and seize voting material and ballot boxes.
Unfortunately a large number of people were hospitalized mostly whilst protecting the polling stations from being raided and shutdown.

Due to the voting database being blocked and the Catalan officials having to put together a makeshift one there was quite a bit of scope for voting irregularities. But either way after the brutal display of violence carried out by Spain's civil Guard in Catalonia today I think even if this vote for independence isn't recognized by the Spanish government there is still no way back from this now and Catalonia will do what ever it takes to be recognized as an independent country free from Spain's oppressive rule.

Think about the toys USSA police FORCE has. The good people of Catalonia only had a couple of slaps compared to what's about to go down in the land of the free. No offence but the cold hard truth is that the people of Catalonia didn't even had it rough. It's sad. But it is true.

Spain is broke. EU is broke. France and Germany has gone to hell ( by that I mean socialists and rapefuges.) We can only expect more of this. In fact this could be the future of USSA. I'd be glad to witness the death of USSA and all their likes. But what I can't stand is good people suffering.
I know my voice won't be heard much. But my proposal is to stop feeding the gov beast. The good people of Catalonia should simply stop paying their taxes. Gov can cage few. But if every single one who voted for Independence stopped paying taxes, that's a blow. Spread this message people. Create a Tax strike.
