Largest Bank in Southeast Asia, DBS Launches Crypto Exchange

Singapore-based DBS, the largest bank in Southeast Asia, becomes one of the first banks in Singapore to launch its own digital exchange. DBS has confirmed that trading has gone live. The exchange provides tokenization, trading and custody of digital assets. More than 50% Of ADA Wallets Now Have Their Funds Staked

Cardano becomes the most decentralized blockchain network on the market because of increasing number of staked ADA and number of wallets. About 55 percent of total ADA wallets on the market staked all their funds to a delegated pool. The number of wallets that delegated all of their ADA hit all-time-high of 152,417 which is 54.92 percent of total 277,538 ADA wallets on the market. Grayscale Investments purchased an extra amount of cryptocurrencies, worth $2.4 billion in just three days, making it a total of $26.6 billion worth of assets under management. This is the largest share of crypto held by the company, compared to other digital assets. The crypto holdings include BTC, BCH, ETC, ETH, XLM, Zcash, ETC. Philippines' Central Bank To License Crypto Trading And Custody Firms

All crypto financial service firms in Philippines must now be licensed by the BSP, Philippines’ central bank. All exchanges involved in crypto-to-crypto trading pairs, derivatives platforms and custody platforms must obtain approval from the central bank. American Cancer Society Sets Up Cancer Crypto Fund To Fund Research

The American Cancer Society collaborates with The Giving Block, to set up Cancer Crypto Fund in order to raise at least $1 million by early 2021 to fund research initiatives. The fund accepts donations in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ether, Litecoin, Zcash, Gemini Dollar, Basic Attention Token and Chainlink. Bitcoin Makes Up 97% Of Total Crypto Inflows In 2021

97% of total crypto inflows in 2021 so far is from Bitcoin according to a report from CoinShares. Bitcoin makes up 83% of digital asset investment products under management, while BTC investment products represent just 6.5% of total Bitcoin trading returns. Ripple Signs 15 New Clients After SEC’s Lawsuit Says Ripple CEO

Despite the hit from US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) in a $1.3 billion lawsuit, Ripple continues to move forward and has signed up new clients. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse wrote in a letter that Ripple has processed millions of transactions, grew on-demand liquidity up to 12x and signed 15 new customers after the SEC complaint and disappointing ending.
