JPMorgan Creates Crypto Exposure Basket Featuring MicroStrategy, Square, PayPal

JPMorgan Chase files with U.S. SEC to create Crypto Exposure basket which will give investors direct exposure to a basket of crypto-focused companies. The Exposure Basket (Mar 2021) will consist of 11 Reference Stocks of U.S.- listed companies that operate businesses directly and indirectly related to cryptocurrencies. Survey of U.S Retail Investors Show They Prefer ADA to BTC

Voyager Digital conducted a Digital Asset Investor Sentiment Survey, which revealed that Investors now prefer Cardanoā€™s ADA to Bitcoin. 31.8% of investors of the survey respondents show that they are ā€œmost bullishā€ on Cardano compared to 22.2% of investors who chose Bitcoin. 12.2% of the respondents chose Ethereum while 6.3% chose Polkadot. BlockTower Capital Generates $25 million Fund To Invest in DeFi Projects

BlockTower Capital generates $25 million fund to invest in decentralized finance (DeFi) projects. Veteran American venture capitalist Howard Morgan, British historian Niall Ferguson and Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry invested in the fund. Coin ATM radarā€™s data shows an addition of about 9,683 machines in the US with record of 13,699 out of 16,835 machines, with Canada having 7.5% (1,268) of machines worldwide, Europe too isnā€™t left behind. 34.6 new ATMā€™s are being installed each day, Hong Kong (85), the Russian Federation (53) and Colombia (46). South Korean Shinhan Bank Pilots National Digital Currency Platform

Reports say that the South Korean Shinhan Bank developed a blockchain-based pilot platform and is looking at a collaboration with the country's central bank to develop a national digital currency. Shinhan Bankā€™s CBDC will allow the use of the issued CBDC for payments, remittances and foreign exchange transactions. Data from Glassnode, an analytics platform, reveals that the Total value locked (TVL) in the Ethereum 2.0 deposit smart contract just surged to an all-time high (ATH) of $6,467,550,120.47, surpassing previous ATH of $6,442,945,942.67. Ethereum 2.0 is Proof-of-Stake (PoS) model, one of the major ways Ethereum Foundation is using to mitigate high transaction fees and bring scalability to the Ethereum network. Bitcoin Network Settled About $10 Billion Daily Transactions in 2021

The Bitcoin network has settled about $10 Billion daily transactions in 2021, data from Glassnode revealed. The massive Bitcoin daily transactions is trackable to institutional investors who are constantly storing BTC from exchanges. 15,700 Bitcoin worth roughly $850 million, was withdrawn from Coinbase on March 8th.
