SIAE Selects Algorand To Create 4 Million NFTs To Manage Authors’ Rights
Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori (SIAE) have chosen Algorand to create over 4 million NFTs to manage the rights of over 95,000 selected SIAE authors on the Blockchain. This will ensure that the copyrights of authors are globally protected on a transparent, open infrastructure as the Blockchain. Stock-to-flow Creator Doesn't Think Bitcoin's Bull Run Is Over
Bitcoin after attaining $60000 have stalled below that price. PlanB, a crypto analyst on Twitter said that bitcoin is just getting started shown from Multiple Stock-to-Flow models. South Korean Bank BNK Busan Offers Banking Services To Crypto Exchanges
Major South Korean bank BNK Busan launched a program to offer banking services for crypto exchanges. The bank is researching how financial institutions handle and deal with crypto exchanges as regulation draws closer. The regulation will enforce the use of Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification. BNK Busan will offer services to small and medium-sized exchanges such as Copax and Gdac. ARK Invest CEO Believes Bitcoin Fixed Supply Will Push Price Upwards
ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood believes Bitcoin fixed supply will push the price upwards due to increasing demand. Wood emphasized that Bitcoin’s current $1 trillion market cap of around is small compared to its potential future value. The ARK Invest CEO pointed out the Institutional interest in Bitcoin which she thinks is a surprising development seeing companies diversify into Bitcoin. Billionaire businessman Øystein Stray Spetalen, recently reportedly invested in crypto exchange MiraiEx and Bitcoin. Oakland A’s President Declares “We are Believers in Bitcoin”
American professional baseball team Oakland Athletics now accepts Bitcoin as payment for the tickets. There's currently about 100 inbound inquiries. Oakland A's also announced their plans to hold any BTC that they receive and also will open to other crypto currencies like eth and doge. Grayscale Now Holds $41 Billion Crypto Assets Under Management
Crypto asset management company Grayscale revealed it now has $41 billion AUM. The company now holds almost $34.7 billion worth of Bitcoin and almost $5.2 billion of Ethereum with 14 listed different vehicles, with five new funds announced on March 17. Kentucky’s Governor Signs Crypto Mining and Clean Energy Incentive Bills
Kentucky’s governor Andy Beshear signed two bills on crypto mining into law. One of the bills is focused on clean energy use incentives and the other is focused on tax breaks for cryptocurrency mining operations. The bills were completed and approved earlier this month. Dragonfly Capital Launched $225 Million Fund To Invest in DEFI, NFTs, Others
Dragonfly Capital launched a new fund tagged the Dragonfly Fund II $225 million to invest in four core areas: Decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols; non-fungible token (NFT) projects; Ethereum Layer 2 solutions and businesses built on them and centralized financial (CeFi).
