$9.2B Investment Firm, SkyBridge, Seeks Approval To Invest In Crypto

Investment firm SkyBridge, founded by former Goldman Sachs' vice-president Anthony Scaramucci, is one of the latest companies looking to invest in cryptocurrency. The company is putting together a hedge fund that includes Bitcoin and other crypto investment, according to a United States Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC, filing from Friday. Ethereum 2.0 Deposits Nears 100,000 ETH

Close to 100,000 eth has been deposited to stake on the new ethereum 2.0 blockchain about two weeks after launch and with just one week left to go until the minimum of 524,000 eth needs to be met. Though this eth currently earns nothing. It is just waiting for 24th of November after which another seven days have to pass for the December 1st genesis block launch provided the minimum is met. Tron Surpasses Ethereum In Dapp Transaction Volume

The month of October has been an active one for the Tron (TRX) network. According to DappRadar’s most recent DeFi and Exchanges report, the Tron network generated a total of $280 million in transaction volume. In the same time period, the Ethereum network generated a transaction volume of $159 million. The team at DappRadar further elaborated. Skype's Cofounder Jaan Tallinn Keep His Personal Money In Crypto

Jaan Tallinn, an Estonian engineer who was one of the co-founders of Skype, is holding most of his personal wealth in crypto—and had been for some time now, according to an article published by Fortune on Friday. As per the report, while Tallinn’s investment company Metaplanet Holdings backed Faculty in the past and holds around 9% of its shares, Tallinn donated 350 Ethereum and 50 Bitcoin to UK-based firm Faculty AI in 2018–2020. Willy Woo: Influx Of Capital Entering Into Bitcoin Market

According to Willy Woo Capital is flooding into the Bitcoin market almost at a record pace. The prominent on-chain analyst recently noted that per his data, it is clear that there is an influx of capital entering the Bitcoin market, which is driving up prices. He pointed to the Realized Price metric, which tracks the estimated average cost basis that Bitcoin investors have paid. Referencing the metric he told, the average price the market paid for their BTC is at its steepest slope, meaning capital influx into Bitcoin is at its highest rate since the last bull market. Samsung Introduces Blockchain Based Secure File Transfer App

Samsung is trying to protect its users’ privacy, and they are using the power of blockchain technology to guarantee a safer p2p file sharing. Samsung is developing a software called Private Share. Private Share is going to allow users to share their files privately. It’s the same concept as ephemeral messaging. The sender will be able to set an expiration date for the files. The shared files would automatically be deleted from the recipient’s device after expiry. Recipients will also be prevented from resharing the files. Bitcoin Breaks Through $17,000 As Market Cap Nears All-Time High

Bitcoin (BTC) traded above $17,000 Tuesday at 12:00 UTC for the first time since Jan. 7, 2018, according to the CoinDesk 20 price index. The rise pushes the leading cryptocurrency’s total market capitalization to over $315 billion, just short of its $335 billion record. Since its yearly lows below $4,000 in March, when prices crashed over 50% in a single day, BTC has rebounded by more than 330%. Since Jan. 1, the leading cryptocurrency has gained 130%.
