Bitcoin Blasts Above $12,300, Hits New 2020 High

Bitcoin’s price on monday morning blasted clean above $12,000 for yet another attempt to hold above the key level. The pump set a new high for the year, and the highest price the cryptocurrency has traded at since August 6th of last year. As per data provider Coinmarketcap Bitcoin touched $12,346 today. San Francisco-based blockchain giant Ripple has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies by Inc., one of America’s leading business magazines. According to the magazine’s estimations, the XRP-affiliated blockchain company, which was created in 2012, has managed to achieve a whopping 3,039 percent growth over the last three years. ING Bank, Rolls Royce To Promote Blockchain Education

Banking giant ING Bank and luxury car and aerospace firm Rolls Royce are joining an initiative to better promote blockchain education and research. Blockchain accelerator MouseBelt said Monday both Rolls Royce and ING, as well as Belgium brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev and margin-first trading platform Multi.io, have joined its Blockchain Education Alliance. Pomp: Bitcoin's Market Cap Will Exceed Gold's By 2029

The Morgan Creek Digital co-founder Anthony Pompliano believes that by the end of 2029, the market capitalization of Bitcoin (BTC) will be higher than that of gold. The current market capitalization of Bitcoin stands at $227 billion, while gold’s cap is about $9 trillion. That means that gold’s market cap is roughly 40 times higher than Bitcoin’s at time of writing. this would be quite an achievement for a store-of-value asset that was created a mere ten years ago. Crypto Trading App Robinhood Boosted Its Valuation To $11.2

Crypto-friendly trading app Robinhood announced it has raised another $200 million in a new Series G funding round from D1 Capital Partners, which now boosts the company’s valuation to $11.2 billion. Robinhood was valued at $8.6 billion in mid-July. Robinhood site said that it has seen a 250% daily rise in visits to its Learn resources since January and the Robinhood Snacks weekly newsletter now reaches 20 million readers, with 1.9 million monthly active listeners to its podcast. Now Bitcoin Cash And Litecoin Trusts Publicly Tradable On Grayscale Investments

The digital asset management firm Grayscale Investments announced that its Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin Trusts are now publicly tradable. Shares of the two trusts will be traded on OTC markets under the tickers BCHG and LTCN. US securities investors will be able to trade Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin without having to buy and store the assets themselves. Gemini Users Will Trade Crypto In Hong Kong, Australian and Canadian Dollars

According to an official announcement, Gemini, a major cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winklevoss brothers, now supports the fiat currencies of Hong Kong dollar (HKD), the Australian dollar (AUD), and the Canadian dollar (CAD). Gemini allow it’s users to buy and sell crypto with native currencies. However, the three fiat are currently not offered through Gemini’s crypto trading platform. CZ: Binance System Traffic Sets All-Time High

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has recorded its highest level of system traffic as total market capitalization surges to its highest level for over a year. CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao or CZ recently posted the milestone, adding that traffic is even higher than when Bitcoin was at a peak at the end of 2017. The move is either indicative of a large rally, or it could be whales moving large amounts of crypto back to exchanges in preparation for selling, as recently observed by industry analysts.
