Coinbase's Mobile Based Daily Active Users Rising

Mobile-based crypto trading is becoming ever more popular, with every new month topping the last in terms of daily active users and new signups, according to a recent report by Apptopia. Mobile crypto apps leading the charts include Coinbase, Blockchain Wallet, Binance, and overall growth is up 81% compared to August last year. Litecoin Leaves Bitcoin Behind In Terms Of SegWit Adoption

Segregated Witness (SegWit) adoption on Litecoin (LTC) is reaching new heights as penetration on the Bitcoin (BTC) chain is beyond the halfway point. Litecoin creator Charlie Lee reveled in the fact that SegWit adoption on the litecoin chain has reached 80%, whereas Bitcoin is only at 50%. Mainly due to the delay in platforms like Blockchain.com to get onboard the SegWit. Litecoin popularly called “the silver to Bitcoin’s gold” front-ran the latter in adopting SegWit back in 2017. Ethereum Transaction Fees Declined By 80%

From its all-time high, Ethereum transaction fees priced in the U.S. dollar declined by 80%, researchers at on chain data provider Santiment has found. Although the decline in fees indicates a less clogged blockchain network, various on-chain data show Ethereum user activity is not declining. According to the data from Etherscan, the number of Ethereum daily transactions has remained relatively stable since August 3. Uniswap Overtakes Tether As Biggest ETH Gas Spender

Decentralized exchange Uniswap has overtaken Tether’s USDT stablecoin as the largest gas spender on Ethereum’s network. Uniswap has surpassed Tether, generating $6.99 million gas consumed over the last 30 days compared to USDT’s $6.39 million. Uniswap operates as a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, leveraging automated market makers. Uniswap also led the market with over 70,000 unique traders in the past week. A full-page ad of Bitcoin appeared on the front page of Hong Kong-based tabloid-style newspaper Apple Daily today. “Bitcoin will never ditch you,” the ad stated in English above the name of Satoshi Nakamoto. Further ad specified, "Bitcoin is digital money. It is not issued or controlled by any government or corporation. Nobody can stop you from transacting on the network and it can not be shut down. Daily Active Addresses Of Chainlink (LINK) Reached All-Time High

Onchain data provider Santiment has identified a new all-time high for ChainLink (LINK) in terms of active daily addresses. As per data, daily active addresses reached 23286 on Friday, 21st August, this came in tandem with an altcoin decline that sent it down to $13.49. At the time of writing LINK is at $15.14.
