A very insightful comment Samuel. I personally find the thought of genetic engineering to produce humans with "super powers" so to speak, is a very frightening concept. If they were able to do it in any way, it would be wrong, IMO. But there haven't been any restrictions so far to stop them from transferring genes of animals to plants, for example, so I don't think transferring from one animal species to another is impossible.
