When your witness can't pick your target out of a line up, you don't offer less charges, you drop them.

Unless you are the St. Paul PD and want to demonstrate your brutality, again.

From the Story:

St. Paul, MN

Today, at Ramsey County Attorney John Choi's office, supporters of Louis Hunter are handing over 1,000 signed postcards to authorities demanding that the charges against Louis be dropped.

Philando Castile's cousin and father of four, Louis Hunter, has been facing two second degree felony charges for over a year now.

These charges come from July 9, 2016, a night of high tension, mere days after the high profile killing of Philando Castile by police officer Jeronimo Yanez, where thousands of protesters marched onto Interstate 94 in St. Paul.

It's all about money for the state.

Yep, if they drop charges they are liable for the damages.

I wasn't even thinking about it from that perspective. I was thinking about how expensive it is to fight a criminal charge and even when you "win" you still ending up owing the state money usually and if you pay a public defender they are on the states pay roll.

You got to get the scoop, @marcstevens is passing out get out of jail free cards, if you can grasp the concepts.

You can't just oppose the force if you are just a civilian.
