According to Australian Associated Press Sharks have been seen at three Victorian beaches.

The first seen, near Ocean Grove, about 11.50am on Christmas Day, this sighting was confirmed by the Westpac lifesaver rescue helicopter.

Then second was seen near Anglesea and and the 3rd near Fairhaven at 12.30pm and 12.43pm respectively.

This was confired with AAP by Life Saving Victoria general manager Paul Shannon. According to Victoria general manager Paul Shannon it's usual to see sharks along that stretch of coast at this time of year. Mr Shannon encouraged people to download VicEmergency app. As all three sightings have been recorded on the VicEmergency app. He also appealed for people to swim between the flags at patrolled beaches. People are advised if they could swim between the red and yellow flags, in the safe zone, they shouldn't have any concerns.
