Lawsuit Could Potentially Ruin Uber In San Francisco

As you might be aware of, companies such as Uber and Lyft does not have any delivery employees, they are all independent contractors. That is a good thing, they dont have to pay taxes and workers compensation. But that could all potentially change now if this lawsuit were to be successful. A man, Raef Lawson, has filed a lawsuit against GrubHub. Here is a quote from Zerohedge:

However, in similar cases like this before, they usually end up with an undisclosed settlement. Here is another quote:

"But, who knows if we'll ever see a verdict in the Lawson vs. GrubHub trial...for some odd reason these types of cases keep get settled before a judge can rule on them."

So, I guess that is the most likely scenario, but we will see...
