So what exactly is your argument? Assad is in a video meeting some people, which suddenly makes him a good leader? This guy cracked down so hard on people protesting his dictatorial government that it embroiled the whole nation in a horrible civil war killing hundreds of thousands and displacing millions. US involvement was not a factor then and your comparison to their leaders is skewed.

Your view is exactly what the corporate media has diligently cultivated and fostered. The Banksters' War Industrial Complex is counting on millions of Americans subscribing to the same credo.
I will sit down and write an entire blog addressing your comment in detail.

I'm not American and not subscribed to those views any more than you are. I've never defended US foreign policy and hope that you don't tire yourself out defending Assad's propaganda. The findings are that his chokehold on leadership in the face of the Arab Spring has led to immense suffering of his people. There's no defending anyone who causes that much harm to its own citizens.

On a second thought, Eva Bartlett has done a far better job than I could have. You will find the truth of what happened in Syria right here: http://bit.ly/2sYlgdE
It is not a civil war; it is a regime change. You know, the type USRAEL has effected over and over ad nauseam...
