Although the counting was not finished, the exact figure given by the authorities is 8,089.00 voters; More than Maduro got in the presidential elections of 2013
More than 8 million people. Almost at the edge of the media night, the rector of the National Electoral Council (CNE) Tibisay Lucena gave the results of the participation in the electoral process in which the members of the National Constituent Assembly that rewrote the Magna Carta were elected. The first bulletin showed a participation of 41.53% of the electoral census and figures that contrast with the election results of the last years.
Not all votes were counted, the exact figure given by Lucena is 8,089.00 voters. Nicolás Maduro obtained more in the presidential elections of 2013 (7,505,338). And very close to the always invited Hugo Chavez, who in his last opportunity reached 8,191,132 votes. In the elections to the National Assembly of December of 2015, the chavismo obtained 5,622,844 votes.
The opposition gave figures of participation around 12% of the electoral census, about 2.5 million voters. The projection of Torino Capital ranged from 3 to 4 million votes. There is no way to verify the figures given by the CNE, a single body that has the Electoral Power. There has been no independent international observation in the process.
The participation in the total sum of support to chavismo, since the candidates, for the most part, belong to the orange. And it contrasts the number of people who went to the polls with the popularity numbers of Nicolás Maduro, who in recent months has fallen, when it is usually a growth in electoral time. Pollsters more optimistic than an acceptance of about 20%. The least favorable data places it at 15%.
It also contradicts the decision to annul the recall referendum and the postponement of governor elections. And with the street that could be seen during this Sunday, with few queues.
The result of the primer is received with a cacerolazo in the east and rockets in the surroundings of the Place of Bolivar of the municipality Libertador, near the Palace of Miraflores. There it seemed Nicolás Maduro, in a controlled act, with the people in the hours before he jumped to the rhythm of the song "Heart of the town", hymn of the last presidential campaign of Chavez.
"They did not accept to measure themselves democratically. I call a great constitutional dialogue, a constituent dialogue," Maduro said on a platform surrounded by the strongholds of Chavismo. Among them, the brothers Rodriguez and his wife Cilia Flores, one of those who has been elected to change the Constitution.
There are still 8 indigenous candidates to choose from. It is done next August 1st. But the president has already said that they take possession "in a few hours." And he warned: "The National Constituent Assembly should be aware of the power they have in their hands," as well as remembering no higher power above it.
And although it is not yet known what will affect the country and what will change, it was possible to glimpse what may be one of the first steps of what Maduro has described as the "rebirth of popular chavismo." He said it is time to "restructure the Attorney General and take over." The public, in chorus, shouted "Prosecutor, traitor, the time has come", referring to Luisa Ortega Diaz, head of the Public Ministry, Chavista, but who rebelled against the sentences of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice that started the protests that are currently the day in Venezuela.
Maduro has said that it is the "rebirth of popular chavismo". The name as the name, no doubt, tomorrow begins a new stage in Venezuela.
When people voted against Maduro in a recent unofficial referendum, they reached about 7M votes refusing the regime. Venezuela has about 15M voters registered in CNE. What did they do to present their 8M? Simply rested 15M-7M... This is a fake number. Did you understand? Cleverly they could, so, show a bit more "votes" to say they are the majority. However the process they adopted is unconstitutional, because they should do a referendum to be able for a constitutional reform.

I agree with what you say ... the CNE cheats and I count votes that did not exist, here in Venezuela it is known that supposedly they voted dead, people already deceased voted, according to the government.
