Nicaragua in CRISIS!
@cecicastor was on @pennsif radio show some weeks ago now and she was detailing problems in Nicaragua and her plan to evacuate should the worst occur. Well seems from her updates that things are getting very bad indeed. Over 100 people killed so far and we see some disturbing, yet familiar details coming out about Snipers and power cuts and violence against those protesting. Supplies low, food, medical and not enough staff manning hospitals to be able to treat the injured. This all amounts to an incredibly dangerous situation which is costing people their lives.
I’ve tried to find something from mainstream media on this situation that is reporting the events as @cecicastor is, but to no avail. No mention of the details of the people killed or how and why, only one article could I find that even mentioned some of the things happening, so this video from me is to at least try and bring more exposure to what is happening there.

I agree with @mother2chicks and I'm surprised there has been nothing about the situation on the regular news.
The State Dept should at least get involved and broker talks between the protestors and Ortega to calm things down before it gets even worse.

Saw a post on the Drudge Report yesterday about Nicaragua, stats were not correct nor did I see any UN PeaceKeepers making much progress. Apparently the U.S. knows the situation, but getting Ortega to back down is not easy. Ortega claims violence has nothing to do with his regime and points back to the protestors. You know the Nicaraguan children which have been mowed down by gunfire were extremely dangerous. Sarcasm.
I would love to read about someone on here take some initiative to make a contact to help ceci and her family. Thanks for the post. 🐓🐓

I have power this morning @geordieprepper! Thank yous o very much for helping to get the news out on what is happening here. We really appreciate it! My son and I will be on Pennsif's Alternative Lifestyle show, second half, God willing and we have power. A dialoguewas held yesterday. Ortega s slow to attend (only him and the Bishops) He was given a two-page letter with all the concern's and his replay is that he needs two days to think about it! He definitely stalling but we don't know why. Some people think that he is planning to mount a large offensive action. That is what he did in the last civil war.
I will be away from the computer this morning as I need to travel 30 miles into Leon to look for a doctor that will do a c-section. I was hoping we will find help at the hospital.
Once again, @geordieprepper, I thank you from the bottom of my heart (and all the preppers) who have been supporting us, getting the news out and giving us advice. Thank you, so much...
