Israel and Iran apparently want to avoid further escalation
After Iran's large-scale attack on Israel and the recent explosions in the Iranian Isfahan region, both sides apparently want to avoid a further escalation of the conflict. "As long as the Israeli regime does not plan new adventures against the interests of Iran, we will not respond," said Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the US news channel NBC News. Meanwhile, Israel criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his meeting with Hamas leader Ismail Hanija.
