Abroad Pakistanis store more than $1 billion assets through Roshan Digital Account
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan declared on Saturday that abroad Pakistanis have stored finances more than $1 billion in Roshan Digital Account.
"Alhamdulillah, reserves got through #RoshanDigitalAccount have crossed $1b," tweeted PM Imran.

He additionally liked the national bank of Pakistan and business banks for accomplishing the "critical achievement in a short period"The Roshan Digital Account was dispatched by the PTI government a year ago, to empower abroad Pakistanis to work computerized accounts in their homeland while sitting abroad.

The Prime Minister's Office said that the activity by the national bank will work with business banks working in Pakistan.

According to SBP Governor Dr Reza Baqir, the new office permits 9,000,000 non-occupant Pakistanis to put cash in neighborhood financial exchanges, purchase government bonds and protections, and benefit fundamental financial administrations.
The SBP manager had added that as of now, at any rate eight Pakistani banks will work with the Roshan Digital Accounts and permit abroad Pakistanis to store assets in possibly US dollars or Pakistani rupees.
