What would you like to ask a politician

in news •  8 years ago

So this isn't so much a story, rather a question for all of you. And sorry, this is only for my Australian brothers, but would love to hear any other input as well.

Now I happen to know the senator that is the Assistant Minister to the PM. If i was to get enough interest, I reckon I could pass some questions on to him, on behalf of all of the people here.

So this is solely up to you, if you want to be a part, just upvote and drop me a comment. If i get enough interest I'll tee it up and report back with some answers for you.

Hi @gohba.handcrafts. My burning question at the moment is this: Why would a Prime Minister who built his wealth through technology stocks and an internet ISP allow a second rate NBN to be rolled out across the country. I understand that the initial reason was to reduce the cost of an expensive project, however it is now apparent that this project will blow out beyond the initial Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) cost and many customers and households across the country will receive a second rate internet connection.

Now this connection might be better than most households currently have, but it is already behind that of other countries around the world and it is not even finished yet. An article in the New York Times made a mockery of the project. How can we justify spending so much public funded money on something that is already out of date and already causing issues for those connected to the project. I know there aren't more important issues that need to be pursued across our country, but the NBN could have been a great success story and gateway for economic prosperity in Australia.....

ok thanks mate, I'll add it to the list.

Bit of a rant but I think you get the picture!

all good champ, rants are the best way to get a point with feeling across sometimes.

The same question I would ask any politician.

I have no use for you, neither does anyone else. Since Planet Earth doesn't require your valuable skills, how would you like to Govern the Sun?

Why aren't the electricity companies buying electricity from people with solar panels at anywhere near the price they sell it for? I currently buy electricity at 36 cents/Kwh, yet I only get paid 5 cents/Kwh?

Cool mate I'll add it to the list

Thanks.

Mate, i could ask 20 or more questions, but i'll put one up here ,with supplementary questions as well for the Minister for the Environment ( i think it's Josh Frydenberg ). What chemicals are Skywriters permitted to use in their business when spraying messages in skies above our cities. If they are bound by any laws regarding the use of chemicals, then why are aircraft permitted to spray toxic chemicals , namely Barium, Strontium and Very Fine Particles of Aluminium ,when they are carrying out Geoengineering work ( Chemtrails ) above our Cities and particularly our Agricultural areas ?

I'll bet you will get a blank stare, or "i don't know what you're talking about".

I don't know why there aren't more people asking any questions about geoengineering. Thank you mate for bringing this up. I can't look at it anymore, i miss those deep blue skies. Nowadays it's all full of those trails making this strange fog like clouds in front of the sun. Here in vienna and in my hometown in zadar, croatia, they are spraying all the time. Harvard has announced, on April 1st, that they have to do so to save the climate... geoengineering.environment.harvard.edu

I'm glad you appreciate it. Why say that they are saving the climate, but buggering up the environment and our health and telling us nothing about it ?
I think i'll write to Frydenberg myself too, and ask him a few questions.

I would ask, no TELL them, CUT MY TAXES!!!

Sad, but this is so F**ken true, specially if you are Italian

I will ask the politicians to let the people live a life.

fair call, I'll add it to the list.

"and how".

sorry mate, I don't understand the question

I hate politics!

Petrodollar Federal Reserve I guess that wouldn't be a question for them more less just a statement to see what they would have to say.
