Bangladesh Jewelers Association has decided to increase the maximum amount of Tk 1,400 by paying the gold price in the country's. By this, the price of gold or 22 carat gold will cost 49 thousand 339 rupees. The new gold price will be effective from tomorrow on Monday.

It was reported today in a press release of Jewelers Association on Sunday afternoon. The last committee on December 13 reduced the price of gold to Tk 1,233 by Tk.

According to the decision of the Jewelers Association, every variant (11.664 grams) of 22 carat gold 49 thousand 339 rupees, 21 carats 47 thousand 123 rupees and 18 carat gold will be sold at Tk 41,874. And the traditional method of gold will stand up to 25 thousand 661.

On Sunday, 22 carat gold worth 47 thousand 939 rupees, 21 carats 45 thousand 723 rupees, 18 carats 40 thousand 474 rupees and traditional vintage of gold was sold at 24 thousand 786 taka. As per the revision of the gold rate, the prices of gold and silver have increased by Tk 1,800 in 22, 21 and 18 carats and traditional methods of gold. But silver prices remain unchanged. Every rupee silver is sold at Tk. 1,550.

Jewelery businessmen said, 91 per cent of 22 carats per year, 87 per cent in 21 carats and 75 per cent pure gold in 18 carats. Wages and Value Added Tax (VAT) will be added to the gold price to make ornaments.

On December 12, the price of gold per ounce (31.1034768 grams) in the world market was 1,250.88 dollars. It rose to 1,175.55 dollars yesterday.

Asked, Jewelers Association's general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala said in the first light, "We have decided to increase the prices of gold in the global market and increase the prices of gold in the local market." Apart from this, the demand for gold has increased slightly due to the present marriage season.
