Monday, a draft proposal was canceled due to the US veto on Jerusalem's Security Council Security Council. The remaining members of the 15-member Security Council voted in favor of the proposal.

The resolution said that the final decision will be taken on the question of Jerusalem as part of the peace agreement between Israel and Palestine only. Until then, no country will set up their embassy in this city. Despite the declared position of the UN, if anyone decides to set up their embassy here, there will be no response to the legal position of the city of Jerusalem. This proposal was also included in the decision to cancel any country if such a decision was made.

This draft proposal does not mention the name of the United States, although no doubt the proposal was raised in view of the announcement that the Declaration of the transfer of the US Embassy in Jerusalem on 6 December.

The United States and Palestinian Arab states have reacted unhappy over the US veto resolution. A spokesman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas described the US as unacceptable and a threat to international stability. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority has already said that if the United States vetoates the Security Council, they will go to the United Nations General Assembly. The process has started in this regard.

On the same day, in a report to the members of the Council, the UN's Middle East representative Nicholy Mladenov described the continuation of the settlement of Jewish settlements in the occupied area. In his words, tensions are rising and clashes are spreading on one side, whereas the peaceful solution to the problem is being interrupted. The two parties are gradually taking stern positions because extremists are consolidating their position under the leadership of two parties.

There was no doubt that the United States would veto a draft resolution on Jerusalem's question. The trump administration had already made its position clear by the decision of the last US administration to change the policy of the Embassy in Jerusalem to move the embassy. But by this vote, how well Washington has become alone on the question of Middle East peace is also proved. Clearly, it is clear from all other members of the council except the United States that Washington has not been able to pull its closest allies to this question. Without an Israeli, there was no announcement of the trump of Jerusalem in any capital of the world. Even the liberal decision in Israel was criticized.
