BANGKOK - Thai police arrested a Japanese Yakuza boss who escaped for 15 years. His arrest was caused due to a picture of a viral tattoo on Facebook. Finally, Yakuza Shigeharu Shirai's boss was caught easily.

After the tattoo photo was widely circulated, Japanese police asked Thai security forces to arrest Shirai. Police arrested him in Lophuri City, north of Bangkok for visa violations. He will be extradited to Japan to face murder charges.

According to Thai police, Shirai claims to be a member of the Yakuza group, Yamaguci-gumi. Shikai claimed to have fled Japan to Thailand in 2005. Shirai was charged with murder against a Yakuza rival in 2003. But, he did not recognize about the 2003 killings.

In fact, the Japanese police believe that Shirai is one of the eight Yakoza anggoya who kill the leader of other Yakuza groups. Seven other suspects were arrested, but Shirai managed to escape.
