Dollar exchange rate continues to strengthen against the rupiah will make the cost of making cars swell. But even though the dollar has reached Rp 14,000, Honda still holds the price of its car.

"No price adjustment, until Lebaran there is no plan to raise prices," said Director of Marketing and After Sales Service PT Honda Prospect Motor Jonfis Fandy, in Jakarta.
The price of the car according to him does not necessarily follow the rise as the dollar exchange rate strengthens. "Can not keep the dollar going, dollar rises, car prices go up," he said.

On the occasion of this Lebaran, Honda even prepared various incentives to facilitate people going home with new cars.
Whether it's a 0 percent interest program for 3 years, a low interest of 2.1 percent, or a down payment of 20 percent. The incentive varies depending on the type of car.

"If the 0 percent interest applies to BR-V, Brio, CR-V may be 20 percent DP," he said.

For car sales until the end of the year, Honda did not change its target, still 180,000 units. "That's a plus of 5 percent over the previous year," said Jonfis.
