Fighting terror with terror doesn't work.

"Seven people have been killed, 48 of them injured, many of them stabbed, following a confirmed terrorist attack at two sites in London."  Wtf man. Things have gotten a lot worse these past few months with this whole terror thing. We're in the 21st century and still people are stupid enough to be killing their own race! It's getting to the point now where i'm starting to question where my generation is going to end up)

Now, if like me, you live in the UK, you will have heard that the "war on terror" was about to get a lot more attention following the events of last year across Europe. Yes we see more police officers in built up ares, maybe you're more likely to get searched at border control, but is any of this actually working? From what iv'e seen this past month with the Ariana Grande concert, along with today's crisis, it's obviously not working. 

The worst part is somehow i feel this is only the beginning and things are going to get worse. There's also massive problem with the way the media portray this.. now i know you're not idiots but do you think that all people who have these bad motives do so without motivation? An example. If you have been looking at world news recently you would know that England is receiving the least of the terror compared to the countries we are at war with. I am by no means defending the horrible people who do commit these vicious acts, but i can understand the point "we want you too feel our reality". If you look at the homes of these people the majority of it is under rubble, their families killed and loved ones gone.. But will the British public ever acknowledge this? Haha! NO. This is the part that frustrates me, the vast majority have an oblivious and heavily biased opinion based on the crap given out by the media. WAKE UP 

So, this "war on terror", in my opinion, seems to be doing little but granting the mental safety of the British public. Then these terror attacks happen and the rest of the country seems to be scratching their heads wondering why its happening? 

I started writing this post with a clear view on the points i wanted to express, but it has turned into a bit of a frustrated rant, however, at the moment i think there is good reason to be frustrated with this whether you live in the UK or not. In an ideal world, these things wouldn't happen, but as we've seen they're going to, I just wish that the general public had a better understanding of it all and it would be great if the government pulled their fingers out of their ***holes.

Please understand this is just my opinion, yours may differ from mine and that's fine, we can have a mature debate about the subject. I may get some stick for some of the points I've made but that's okay, i just want to see if anyone is on the same page as me.
