Despite not seeking it out, the current fear cycle is strong, and I couldn't help but hear the news that "Seattle has fallen". Strangely I read that tidbit in the comment feed of the Dow Jones tracker on Youtube, with the DJI down nearly a 1,000 points, I decided to dive deeper on this issue, and here is what I found.

The linked article below is one of the top results in Google, and the piece is NOT favorable. The conclusion is that these paramilitary rioters are undermining the rule of law in America. True, but I am still surprised, truth in media is rare these days. Just imagine how bad it must be in Seattle if Google is not promoting a favorable spin.

In other news, Trump yesterday said if Seattle can't handle this matter, he will.

Trump on Twitter slammed Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and Mayor Jenny Durkan for allowing the area to be handed over to protesters he described as “domestic terrorists.”

He also warned that he would take action if they did not shut the demonstration down.

No matter where we fall politically, these events should terrify us. This will not end peacefully. If we continue down this road more lives will be lost. If you believe in God, now is the time for prayer. Lord help us.
