According to a 2014 poll conducted by Public Policy Polling (PPP), a majority of Pennsylvania residents said that they would rather have a groundhog in congress than the humans who currently hold the position. Although no one trusts a groundhog to even predict the weather, they would trust one in congress more than a politician.
When asked if weather-predicting groundhog Punxsutawney Phil would do a better job in congress than a politician, 50% of Philadelphia residents said he would, with only 29% saying that he wouldn’t, and 21% saying that they were “not sure.”
The same data revealed that only 8% of those people who were polled actually trust Punxsutawney Phil’s predictions on groundhog day, leaving us to wonder just how little they trust politicians.
According to a press release, PPP surveyed 1,042 registered voters from January 15th to 18th. The margin of error for the survey is +/- 3.0%. 80% of interviews for the poll were conducted over the phone with 20% interviewed over the internet to reach respondents who don’t have landline telephones.
PPP polls conducted in the past have showed American residents favor Ronald McDonald for president over Burger King, and that Republicans prefer olives as a pizza topping twice as much as Democrats.

Very interesting findings. Anyway, it is true to trust animals than human.

The ironic thing about this is that the 2 party system feels like groundhog day every election anyway, 2 puppets on the same hand, the next day you wake up and its the same day all over again for another 4 years....

People trust an animal over human.
I believe politicians are fake and they just want to fill their pockets. There are few which really want to help people but they don't have money and people support.
What do you say?

one wonders who was in office there in 2014, but not enough to look it up. Remember that those are people who would cheer for a serial dog abuser as long as he can throw a football.
