A lot of us on Steemit are probably aware of today's horrifying 'terrorsist attack' that has happened in Westminster in London (capital of England) at around 2:40pm Uk GMT today.
It is said that a knifeman ploughed a car into crouds of people who were outside the Houses of Parliament at the time. It is then said that he stabbed a policeman; successfully claiming his life.
The suspect was then shot by armed officers and was killed.
4 people were killed as a result. These being a policeman, two pedestrians and the suspect himself.
A further 20 People were hurt with some suffering from "catastrophic" injuries.
Being from the Uk myself, it's quite frightening to think that you are never to far away from danger.
I just don't understand why someone would be so evil to commit such a crime and not even think about how this may effect the life of the victims' families.
My heart goes out to all the victims in this horrible event and want to thank all the emergency services for their outstanding response...
I don't believe it's a matter of good and evil. Some people have genuine chemical imbalances in their brain that affects their entire reality. These people need help, and as a society we need to remember how important healthcare and similar functions are for these type of events.
