I just read this interesting and detailed article about Facebook in ZeroHedge and I think it's worth sharing it with all of you.

Reading it was clear to me once again that my decision to move away from Facebook has been the most accurate. Basically, I have not closed my Facebook account completely so I can communicate with some of my family and friends from Cuba who live in other countries and to sometimes give publicity to one of my Steemit posts. Sadly it is the most used social network in the world.
And honestly, I feel much calmer and more relaxed since Steemit replaced Facebook in my life ...
... and more intelligent too.

Long article but was worth reading. Still using my FB account for the exact same reasons as you do.
Never liked Zuckerberg anyway. His whole attitude and especially his sneaky and sly expression/look, gives me the impression he can not be trusted.
To say it in other words: having had a long career in HRM, where recruitement was one of my responsabilities, already within 5 minutes of the job interview I would have showed him the door.

The Z(s)uck-erberg is just a puppet... when they do not look to your eyes when speaking with you.. this people are just puppets ... I think like you, ti can not be trusted.

Yeah, I haven't used facebook for almost a year now. My feed is always filled with garbage and spam and whenever I try to post some art, my "friends"never really engage on the topic. A waste of time sadly.

A long article but very true in its entirity. I also am using Facebook for the same mentioned reasons to be connected to my family and a few distant friends and to access what is going around the globe!! Facebook is more like a news channel than a social website now!!
