Huawei launched both Nova 2 as well as the Nova 2 Plus smartphones in China a couple months back. Talking about the specs of both of these
devices, they both are powered by really good internals and offers great value over the competitions, that are out there in the market. Both the
devices were, however, only launched in China and there was no info regarding the launch of these smartphones outside the Chinese markets. But
now, it looks like they will leave the Chinese market and enter into some other international markets as well.
According to the new reports which we have, the Nova 2 Plus was spotted at the FCC. This indicates that the device could be launching outside the
Chinese market. However, in the other markets, we could be seeing a different variant of the smartphone. FCC has given a green light to the
variants with model number BAC-L03 and BAC-L23. Whereas the Chinese variant carries the model number BAC-AL00. It is expected that the one with
the model number BAC-L03 will be a single-SIM version, while the BAC-L23 will have support for dual-SIM functionality.
However, apart from this is no other info available about these two particular variants since the FCC certification does not really give out much
about them. In fact, we don’t even have any info regarding the launch of the smartphone. But considering the fact that the company is highly
popular and has a huge market share in the smartphone industry, we can expect the smartphone to make a debut in other markets very soon.
As far as the hardware specs of the smartphone are concerned, the Nova 2 Plus sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display on the front. Internally, it is
powered by the Kirin 659 chipset and is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a 3,340 mAh battery, which is
powering the smartphone internally and the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The highlight is again, however, the dual camera
setup at the back which includes 12MP + 8MP sensors. On the front, there is a 20MP sensor for snapping selfies.
Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this. Would you be interested in buying this smartphone if it ever launches in India? Be
