The 3 month warning given by government of maharahtra ended on 23rd of june and now plastic is completely banned in maharashtra . Anyone found using plastic will be penalised with a fine of 5000 rs .

Due to this plastic ban a total of about 3 lac people have become jobless . The plastic industries have suffered a loss of manmoth 15000 crore .
A total of 72 people were fined only in nashik and a fine of 3.6 lacs was collected from them.
This move sounds to be a good move by the government but the plastic industries have suffered a lot .
But its neccesary for the government to take such moves for the safety of this environment.
