The analytical company Canalys has come to a rather expected conclusion regarding the consequences of the massive allocation of autopilot cars and the popularization of the services of card-sharing.
Joint trips and short-term car rental are supported by a large number of people. According to polls, 55% of European motorists are ready to share their car with strangers for money.

Experts also believe that in the long term robotic taxis for many will be replaced by personal transport.

All this, according to experts Canalys, will lead to a reduction in demand for cars. This year, according to estimates, sales of machines on the world market will rise only by 1.7% compared to last year - up to 93.7 million units.

During the next years, growth will also be insignificant. As a result, in 2022 the sales volume of 99 million units will be fixed. After that, analysts believe Canalys, the recession will begin.
