Porsche is working on a hybrid version of the Porsche 911

Porsche is preparing to release not only Mission E electric car, but also a hybrid version of its popular Porsche 911 model. This was announced by Oliver Bloom, the company's chief executive officer, in an interview with Automotive News.

He said that the hybrid version of the Porsche 911 will go on sale, approximately in 2023 - 4 years after the market will be updated gasoline version of the car. It is noted that the decision to produce a hybrid modification of the popular coupe is still not final, although Bloom insists on it.

The new battery technology can help increase the power reserve only on electric traction to 43 miles (about 69 km) from a 47 Ah battery. And by the time the hybrid version is on sale, these figures can still increase.
