The neutrality of the network is a term that you have probably read everywhere in recent months. You know that Trump overthrew her in the United States, that citizens, companies and the world disagreed and that; For some reason, this could change the Internet as we know it. But all this might make more sense if everyone knew what we mean when we talk about the neutrality of the network.

Last December 14 disappeared, leaving on alert to companies such as Google, Facebook, Netflix; some politicians and the population in general. If you want to understand what is happening, Burger King explains it to you in the simplest terms thanks to a video.

Burger King and net neutrality
On January 24, the fast food company posted the video on Twitter. The example is practical: a Whopper burger.

In the video, we see the employees of Burger King playing a practical joke on their clients to raise awareness about the neutrality of the network and what is happening in the United States and that could be replicated in the entire world.

The joke is to tell customers that if they want their Whopper fast, they will have to pay more money. Otherwise, it will take longer than usual. Or they could also ask for a chicken sandwich, which, although it is more expensive, will be served immediately. Yes, there are ready-made Whoppers, but they can not be given at the moment simply because they did not pay for it.

This exemplifies in the simplest way what happens now that the neutrality of the network is gone: the Internet providers will favor the loading of content that generates money; and they can slow down or block the pages they want, freely. Do you want to see everything Internet? Do not you want some pages to take longer than others? Then you will have to pay more.
