Should We Worried about the CoronaVirus?

in news •  5 years ago

Yes. We should.

Confirmed deaths has reached past 1,500 which may not seem like a lot but there's no end in sight to this virus. Death counts can be slightly inaccurate so it is almost 99% of the time a little bit more than the recorded number.

Background:

The corona virus first became prominent from its original destination Wuhan China. This highly populated city (11 million) has had 1523 of the 1527 reported deaths so the virus is mostly contained in this area.

Most viruses originate from humans interacting with animals. Sometimes bestiality is one of the main causes we get new diseases.

Why Should We Be Worried?

Although 1,527 deaths may not seem like a lot, it's the future that is most scary. CDC directors say that there is no new cure that may put an end to this and this could continue well into the summer. This is not the first time we've seen the corona virus. However, this is a different strain that's stronger and resistant to treatment.

Stay tuned for more updates.
