According to latest news from Business Insider software giant Microsoft wants to accuire code repository GitHub. According to source Microsoft and GitHub both considering a joint marketing parnership valued around $35 million. Sourced said that Github’s price for a full accuisation was more than $5 billion but Micrrosoft undervalued the price.
In 2015 Github raised $250 million from venture capital firm Sequoia Capital and after that Github’s valuation price will increased to $2Bilion price.

Nasa , Google, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft will also using Github for various repositories. Microsoft spcially have 1800 repositories on Github.

As of March, GitHub is used by 24 million people regularly to collaborate and share code and hosts 80 million source code repositories for software in languages like JavaScript, Python, and C++.
