The large Singapore operator PSA International, which manages ports in Asia, South America and Europe, today signed a letter of intent with IBM and the Pacific Pacific Lines regional shipping company (PIL) to test blocking technology in supply chain management. This is written by CoinDesk.

According to a statement issued today, the three companies will "work together to explore the Proof-of-Concept (proof of concept) using blocking technology." The aim of the research is to automate the flow of documents between trading partners and ensure the transparency of logistics processes.

"Blochein has the potential to improve efficiency and reduce supply chain gaps, and to promote more efficient transactions and promote further growth in world trade," said PSA CEO Tan Chong Meng.
Earlier, IBM in conjunction with Sony Global Education developed a block-based solution for the safe exchange of information about student performance.
