I think comedians regard Trump as a gift, because he and those around him provide so much material for comedy. Apologies to those outside the US who may not be familiar, but the long-running sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live is having a bit of a revival thanks to their takes on Trump and his staff. Obama was too serious from a comedic standpoint, and it was hard to parody him without looking bland or racist.
Whatever happens with Trump, the key industries who will most likely prosper from this administration will be Oil/Gas, Financial (Wall Street), News Media, and Comedy.
I've seen some of the SNL sketches. He is easy to parody, but still a scary man for many.

No doubt. But he's a character. Think of George W. Bush.
